Making trust in autonomous financial systems examinable.

Supervisory guidance, sound practices, and emerging statutory regimes state with increasing precision what an institution must achieve before it lets software transact on its own. None of them names the artifact that evidences it.

QBRS Labs works on that artifact. The disciplines are borrowed from safety-critical systems engineering, where the problem of trusting software with something irreplaceable was solved half a century ago — assurance cases graded to consequence, behavioral envelopes enforced by something the system cannot reconfigure, and records good enough to reconstruct who authorized what, afterwards, to someone who does not trust you.

The research is published in full. The advisory work is how the framework meets deployments that do not cooperate. Where this is going is described on the About page.
